For those who would like to practise English online, there are several useful websites for adults with various interactive activities. Below you can find my top 3:

1. BBC Learning English - http://www.bbc.co.uk/learningenglish/

The website is designed for intermediate and advanced students and focus on topics like English at University, English at Work, News Report, 6 Minute English, Pronounciation, Drama, Words in the News and The English We Speak. Overall, this is a great resource for practicing listening skills. 

2. British Council Learn English - http://learnenglish.britishcouncil.org/en/

The British Council has three separate sections on their website for different ages: kids, teens and adults. Each sections features a huge variety of lessons, videos, games and podcasts to learn about any skill. This means that no matter what level you are at or what topic interests you, you'll always find something on British Council. There are discussion boards under many of activities so you can talk about what you learned with other students. Check their mobile app version which you can use on the go. 

3. TED talks - https://www.ted.com/talks

This is my favourite website devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). It covers almost all topics from science to business to global issues. Some videos are really amazing, just check it by your own!
